Dyelicious Desert Carefree

Desert Carefree is a beautiful yarn unique to Tempe Yarn & Fiber.  It is dyed using a proprietary technique that creates an ever-changing balance of colors as you work through each skein. Desert Carefree is a machine washable blend of Superwash Merino Wool, Nylon, and Tencel, which gives it a lovely shine, softness, and drape.  

Be sure to get enough yarn to complete your project since yarns are dyed with only 2 skeins per dye lot, and skeins may vary greatly from lot to lot. The skeins may also vary one from the other even within the same dye lot. 

Fiber Content: 75% Superwash Merino Wool, 15% Nylon, 10% Tencel

Skein Length: approx. 650 yds

Weight: #1--Fingering Weight

Care Instructions: Hand or gentle machine wash in cold water with like colors.  Lay flat to dry.

Because of the dye process used to create Desert Carefree, actual shades and distribution of colors within each skein that we have in stock may be significantly different than those shown in the sample photos. If the exact color matters, we recommend purchasing your yarn in-store so you can see the available colors and shades in person.
